Rév. Dr. Col Pol NITUNGA SERVILIEN is Rector of Hope Africa University since 1st March 2024. Academically, he is holder of B.Sc. Agronomy degree, Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Management, PhD in Business Administration and Financial Management. According to his professional background, he was Strategic Planning Advisor to the Minister of Interior, Community Development and Public Security 2023-2024; Director General of Commune Investment National Fund 2021-2023; Policy and Planning Officer United Nations Police Standing Police Capacity based in Brindisi Italy 2016-2020; African Union Police Division Strategic Support Group Expert 2016-2024.

Dr Edouard NIYONGABO is Vice- Rector of Hope Africa University since 1st March 2024. Academically (niyongaedouard@gmail.com). He is born July 7, 1982 in Gishingano, Nyambuye Zone, Isare Commune in the province of Bujumbura (Burundi). He is Burundian and married to Félicité IRAKOZE (Master in International Law), with two children (boys aged 10 and 3). He hold a Ph.D in Ecological Engineering, Specialty in Ecosystem Health (2019), obtained in South Korea from Pukyung National University. He also has a master's degree (2012) in Nursing Education, obtained at Hope Africa University, Bujumbura-Burundi and the Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences (2008) obtained at the University of Ngozi (Burundi). He has been a teacher-researcher at INSP and Hope Africa University four years ago. On the professional side, He was an executive at the Ministry of Health in Burundi for 5 years, Assistant Professor for 2 years at the Hope Africa University. He speak 5 languages: Kirundi, French, English, Swahili and Korean.
